Job Summary

The MRO Quality Specialist is primarily responsible for maintaining accuracy of Storeroom inventory and ensuring the validity of all transactions. This role will also provide Storeroom support, including receiving, issuing, cycle counting, building of bill of material (BOM) PM/WO kits. You will report to the Operations Specialist.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for inventory control and management of MRO parts warehouse for Storeroom operations.
  • Conducting routine cycle counts to ensure accuracy of MRO parts inventory. Investigate any inventory variances for resolution.
  • Complete document verification processes, including package receipts and requisition entries.
  • Participate in investigations and identify/implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the MRO operation, and actively monitor and report key inventory trends.  

 

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Pulling parts from stock to issue to the respective work orders, operators, and maintenance personnel as needed to conduct repairs on manufacturing equipment for that site.
  • Coordinating with MRO Buyer/Planner to ensure all purchase orders and any expedited parts are placed to replenish stock in the storeroom.
  • Building overhaul kits for monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and yearly PM’s and Work Orders.
  • Stowing and organization of MRO parts inventory, including non-stock items in the storeroom.
  • Conducting routine cycle counts to ensure accuracy of MRO parts inventory. Investigate any inventory variances for resolution.
