Job Summary
The Director of Corporate Strategy will report to the President and will work closely alongside senior leaders across Levy’s various business units. This position will lead long-term growth planning, corporate governance processes, market intelligence research, and other ad-hoc priorities of the executive leadership team. Successful candidates must possess strong interpersonal skills, time-management skills, financial acumen, and a passion for the sports or hospitality industry.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
- Develop strong working relationships with principal business stakeholders and acquire an intimate knowledge of Levy’s products, growth strategies, and competitive positioning.
- Lead Levy’s long-term strategic planning process, including opportunity identification, goal development, project prioritization, and execution roadmap development.
- Lead and create deliverables to facilitate quarterly governance meetings among the executive leadership team.
- Spearhead market and competitive analyses. This includes maintaining a competitor database, collating industry data, and benchmarking competitors.
- Construct internal assessments of Levy business units to inform future growth strategies.
- Prepare presentations and analyses for ad-hoc requests by executive leadership and partners.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor degree required; degree in finance, business management, or a related field preferred.
- 5-7 years of prior work experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or in an internal finance/strategy role; prior experience in hospitality, sports, or entertainment preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Able to manage multiple work-streams concurrently and produce quality deliverables in compressed timeframes.
- Able to interact and work with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Able to present to and facilitate discussions with executive leadership.
- Highly analytical and able to extract meaningful business insights from analysis.
- Demonstrable proficiency in complex financial modeling.
- Strong command of market research techniques.
- Ability to create impactful and concise presentations.
- Proven ability to follow-through on projects and bring them to a timely completion with limited oversight.
- Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills.
- Trustworthy and dependable with ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
